Crispignas
It's a one of a kind history that just keeps getting better!
Established originally in 1972 as the T & T Supper Club, Crispigna’s Restaurant has been a staple of the downtown area of Escanaba. Joe and Ann Crispigna the original owners have passed down their family recipes and traditions to their son Andy who is trained chef and his wife Shannon and three kids who are now the proud owners. Andy and staff has updated the food a bit adding new and modern dishes to the menu while still maintaining the classic favorites that people have enjoyed for over 40 years. The pasta sauces are one of staples of Crispignas and these recipes have not changed in 40 years. The White Cheese sauce, Red Meat sauce and the Marinara are famous amongst Crispignas followers. Along with the sauces are some other favorites including their made from scratch pizza and of course their hand cut steaks. The Steak and Spaghetti is the most celebrated and hallowed ground for most Crispigna’s goers. It is a hand cut Tenderloin Steak cooked to your liking and served with Linguine noodles and your choice of sauce. People clamber for this meal and the staff at Crispignas is cranking them out on a daily basis.
Crispigna’s also offers a full bar and wine list. The classic cocktails like the “Old Fashioned” and the “Manhattan” are favorites amongst bar fans. Andy and his staff have updated the bar as well offering new and popular drinks like Sangria and a full line of intricate Martinis. The wine list is extensive and has varietals from all over the world including Italy, France, South America, the U.S., and from our own community.
In the last few years Andy, Shannon and their staff have developed a catering menu and been successful at catering large events and parties for the Escanaba area. Everything on their regular menu is offered in bulk packed in large portable and ovenable containers to be heated and transported in. Crispigna’s also has a private dining room to cater events of up to 48 people.
The Crispigna family will continue to evolve the restaurant to keep things new and exciting but will always have the Crispigna’s classics which have brought them over 40 years of success in Escanaba. They look forward to the continuing patronage of the community in the Delta County area.
